Public Safety Committee

The Public Safety Committee is responsible for monitoring and promoting the safety of the Land Park community, including:

  • Raise awareness of public safety issues and advise on safety improvements.
  • Collaborate with and promote local law enforcement/first responders.
  • Help develop Neighborhood Watch groups.
  • Share informational forums, via posts or meetings to help share tools and strategies on topics including; crime prevention, health emergencies, and natural disaster preparedness.

The Public Safety Committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm at Eskaton Monroe Lodge, 3225 Freeport Blvd (unless otherwise noted) and is open to residents and business owners in the Land Park, Upper Land Park, College Plaza, South Land Park Estates, and South Land Park Terrace neighborhoods.
