Born into a family of creatives, Mimzi started drawing on everything (including herself) as soon as she could hold a marker.
Fast forward to the day she turned 18; she got her first tattoo and days later bought a machine to practice on herself. In 2014, upon moving to central Oregon, Mimzi started a traditional tattoo apprenticeship where she would start learning what it took to become a tattoo artist.
She became licensed in California in 2018 and has worked in several shops, learning everything she could to become a better artist and tattooed.
Finally, early in the year 2020, she opened her own private studio in Roseville, CA. She currently works by appointment only and has plans to expand with more artists in the near future.
